Very little visible difference.
It seems a little bit faster in the UI, and there are a whole slew of things fixed in Media Center.
Various bug fixes and additional hardware drivers.
Upgrade from 7100 is reported to generally work fine, but cautious experts still recommend to backup all data and do a clean install.
Upgrade is reported to break the optional 7-XP emulator, so if you use that reinstall it afterwards.
