  【內容介紹】三年的時間匆匆一過，前兩集內經歷了諸多風風雨雨的特洛伊（扎克·埃夫隆飾）和加百利（瓦妮莎·安妮·哈金斯飾），如今也面臨著各奔東西的局面。雖然說兩人非常希望能夠繼續在一間大學就讀，延續著他們的感情，可惜無論是家人還是自己的志向，在這一點都分歧頗大，特洛伊倒是願意遷就加百利，但偏偏加百利又覺得學業為重，不應該因為兒女私情而耽誤彼此的前途，因為這個原因，兩人也免不了多多少少的爭吵。
  
  　　吵架歸吵架，但是時間總歸是不等人的，畢業在即，兩人都明白很可能將來無法再維繫這份感情。特洛伊回想起兩人的緣分的開始，皆因那場校園歌唱比賽，因此他懇求加百利與自己再排練一場音樂劇，為這段感情添上一個完美的註腳。而加百利也欣然應允，兩人在音樂劇的排練過程中笑料百出，不過除此之外，特洛伊和加百利也開始重新審視這段感情。
  
  　　東部高中的籃球賽——最後的冠軍杯拉開帷幕，特洛伊認真備戰，加百利作為拉拉隊員也到場上為特洛伊打氣；畢業舞會上，兩人再次牽手，演繹一場漂亮絕美的華麗舞蹈；辛苦排練的音樂劇正式公映，兩人在劇內牽手約定，劇外的特洛伊和加百利也發現，沒有什麼能夠比得上和對方在一起相守廝老更重要。於是特洛伊做出了一個他人生裡最重要的決定……
