本片由黎大伟导演，区华汉编剧，萧玉龙和邝美宝主演。此故事片的主要内容是描述刑警萧搬进一幢鬼气森森的旧屋，进而引发一连串的种种怪事。其妻邝竟被一个自杀惨死的女鬼缠身，最后出动中国法术，西洋和尚，加上电脑仪器，才能把复仇女鬼收服。导演在一开始就以流丽的映象和特异的气氛，拍出了一副怀旧的可怕氛围。然后就追溯到女鬼的一段异国孽缘。在后半部，导演过分夸张了血腥暴力的邪恶趣味。虽然满足了观众的感官刺激，却未能升华女鬼的复仇的悲剧意义。未能在内容层次上有所提升，是本片的一大缺点。
