剧情介绍
喜玛拉雅山脉西麓高耸入云的K2峰是仅次于珠穆朗玛峰的世界第二高山峰，早在1892年就有欧洲的登山队尝试攀登K2峰，不过直到1954年才由一支意大利探险队顺利登顶，实现了征服K2的愿望。
彼得（克里斯·奥唐纳饰）本是一名登山好手，不过由于父亲在一次登山事故中意外丧生，所以彼得下定决心放弃登山，而彼得的妹妹安妮（罗宾·特妮饰）却不愿就此放弃，兄妹俩人因此不欢而散。安妮自行组织了一支探险队向K2峰发起冲击，不料遇上突变气候，探险队被困峭壁之上，进退维谷。为了营救安妮，彼得不得不披挂上阵，再度挑战K2极限！
