自从出道拍了电视戏剧「十八岁的约定」，林依晨的戏剧星途便十分顺遂，也一直受到广告商和各个制作单位的青睐；在每一部担纲女主角的演出中，依晨一直是台湾学生族群最有影响力和最受欢迎的偶像剧小天后。而之前播出由她主演的「东方茱丽叶」和「恶作剧之吻」，一上档就缔造了偶像剧宝座的佳绩，让林依晨稳作台湾偶像剧一姐的宝座，不但台湾媒体和观众喜欢她自然精湛的演技；「恶作剧之吻」的湘琴魅力更是一路延烧到香港、日本及大陆内地!!
除了戏剧上的表现，2003年「爱情合约」戏剧在台湾造成的轰动及迴响，由依晨所主唱的主题曲『孤单北半球』更是大受欢迎，勇夺KTV和手机铃声下载连续12周冠军。而后主唱「东方茱丽叶」片尾曲『非你莫属』也在排行榜上屡创佳绩！
依晨跟经纪公司几番评量之后，最后花落AVEX唱片；筹备发行的首张个人专辑，也因为依晨的长相甜美，本人具有丰富的亲和力，在整张专辑的收歌、制作到企划方向，都希望呈现如此真实清新的林依晨，带给大家幸福的感受，所以专辑Title便定为【幸福遇见】，取意「为遇见依晨，就会感受到一种幸福」；而在聆听专辑歌曲时，也能感受到每一种人与人之间的相遇，都是一种幸福的每一首不同遇见的感受。
