《劇情簡介》：
北魏時期，花木蘭（趙薇飾）原是一介平民，與父親相依為命的過活。雖然外表看來是柔弱不堪的弱女子，但實則自幼偷學陣法，武藝高強。
直至木蘭十八歲時，遊牧民族柔然大軍犯境，軍情緊急，魏國全民徵兵。木蘭不忍年邁的父親再上戰場，於是灌醉父親，悄悄代父從軍。
初入軍營，木蘭便以精湛武藝引起副營長文泰（陳坤飾）的注意。正當文泰欣喜於魏軍可望再添一名猛將之際，未料木蘭竟在沐浴時不巧與文泰撞個正著。識破身份的危機步步逼近…違抗軍令可是第一死罪，然而，國難當頭，失去一名將才，更影響著魏軍對抗外敵的全盤作戰計畫…
