◎簡 介
保羅·貝納爾和妻子瑪格麗特一直生活在冰天雪地的阿拉斯加，很長時間以來，瑪格麗特都深受精神抑鬱症的折磨。保羅決定帶妻子離開這個寒冷的地方，到陽光明媚的加州開始全新生活。可是昂貴的旅費卻讓收入微薄的保羅撓頭不已，他決定賭一把，並且制定了一個十分周全的計劃：去偷一具屍體假冒自己失散已久的哥哥，然後報警，謊稱哥哥在意外中身亡，以騙取巨額的傷亡保險金。瞎貓撞死耗子的保羅，還當真搞來具來歷不明的屍體，可如何把這個倒霉的哥們運回去又成了大問題，於是愛妻心切的保羅大費周章，時而藏之於車庫，時而匿之於冰箱，正忙個不可開交之際，一對危險人物聞風而至，原來這哥倆剛剛遺失了一具新製造出的屍體。
