预定今年秋季档期播映的TV动画「好想告诉你」，改编自椎名轻穗原作的同名少女漫画。动画制作将由出品了「战国BASARA」「东之伊甸」「GHOST IN THE SHELL/攻壳机动队」等优质作的Production I.G操刀，监督由镝木ひろ出任，此前他曾参与过「欢迎加入NHK!」「全力兔子」的制作，这是他首次担当监督这一大重任，系列构成由负责过「源氏物语千年纪 Genji」「交响情人梦」「NANA」等作的金春智子担当，人设则是柴田由香。CAST方面，能登麻美子、浪川大辅、泽城美雪等人气实力兼具的声优将出演剧中的主要角色。能登麻美子略带沉稳清冷的声音质感，相信能把握并充分表现女主角爽子的感情变化，浪川大辅至今为止出色的声音表演，这次的阳光型男主角相信他也能得心应手地演绎。
【STORY】
因为外表阴暗而被人疏远，有着外号“贞子”的黑沼爽子。习惯了周围回避自己的爽子对接受自己的风早翔太满怀憧憬。在鼓励着自己的风早、失野朱音、吉田千鹤、真田龙这些同班同学的关怀下，爽子渐渐地改变着自己。
这是一部细腻地描写爽子认识友情和爱情、对手和朋友失恋等各种“初次”的过程的校园青春故事。
