成田良悟（代表作：「永生之酒」）創作、安田典生（代表作：「夜櫻四重奏」）插畫的輕小說「無頭騎士異聞錄 DuRaRaRa!!」，將由近期出品過「夏目友人帳」「空罐少女」「紅」等作的Brain's Base改編製作成TV動畫，預定2010年1月播放。監督是曾執導過「夏目友人帳」「地獄少女」「永生之酒」的大森貴弘，而曾在這幾部作品中與大森貴弘有過合作關係的高木登將負責本作的系列構成，人設則是「永生之酒」「到另一個你的身邊去」的岸田隆宏。CAST方面，宮野真守、神谷浩史、小野大輔、福山潤等人氣聲優的名字也在出演之列。作品的舞台設定在池袋，以嚮往非日常的少年、愛找碴的小混混、跟蹤狂的電波系少女、 以當情報販子「為樂」的青年、專接不尋常病患的密醫、迷上魔物的高中生以及騎著漆黑色機車的「無頭騎士」為中心展開的一連串不尋常但爽快的戀愛故事……
