STORY
天河优人是一个非常普通的高中生。七年前父母去世，独自一人生活。对猫异常过敏，所以优人的青梅竹马凛子如果对叫不起床的优人会将她的爱猫当作终极武器来使用，逼迫优人起床。
正当优人迎接了16岁的生日的早上，神秘的美少女「绯鞠」突然出现了。原来优人是守护人类的除妖世家「鬼斩役十二家」当中天河家的末裔，当16岁时便成为现任当家，而绯鞠正是效忠天河家的猫妖，根据优人的祖父的约定，从今之后「守护」着优人。随着优人与绯鞠不断接受退魔委托，妖怪化身的美少女角色亦逐一登场，再加上青梅竹马九崎凛子的卷入，恋爱大战随即爆发。
