Archival purposes. And for whatever if you find use for it.
This is the only volume of FUNimation's Dragon Ball Kai that I have on DVD (got it for only 99c) while the others (Parts 1-4 — I ended up selling Parts 5-8 'cause I just can't stand the Kikuchi score on it) are on Blu-ray but won't have time any time soon to rip the audios from those, either way. Such a shame FUNimation only released the series with the Yamamoto score up to episode 52 and then unfortunately had to use the replacement Kikuchi score (Part 5 did have Yamamoto credited on the cover so it was planned) but still better than the rest of international releases which had the replacement score from the get-go.
I also have on DVD the Kai episodes 01-52 (01-39 w/ Yamamoto score & 40-52 w/ Kikuchi score) but it's from the Madman set which is a NTSC to PAL conversion so don't think it's worth bothering with about. However, it's kinda cool to own, though.
