◎简 介
2004年，印度洋地震引发印尼海啸，造成重大伤亡。当时，登上远洋渔船的万植（薛景求饰）意外地遭到海啸的袭击，他平安归来，却因为没能救出一直对其信任有加的延熙（河智苑饰）父亲耿耿于怀。带着深深罪恶感的万植只能把对延熙的心意埋藏起来。一天，万植决定把这个秘密永远放在心底，准备鼓起勇气向延熙进行浪漫的求婚。这时，国际海洋研究所的地质学者金辉博士（朴重勋饰）发现海云台附近的东海有异常的状况，这与印尼发生海啸前的景象非常相似——他发出将有大规模的海啸袭击的警告没有被相关部门引起重视，终于超大型海啸发生了。数万名为了避暑来到海云台的釜山市民，还有刚刚确认了彼此心意正要山盟海誓的万植和延熙，每秒800千米的海浪正呼啸而来，此时聚集了几百万名人的海云台能从死神的手掌心中逃脱吗？
