内容紹介
久々の新曲リリースは、“徳島からやって来た”8曲入りミニアルバム
ツアーファイナル後そのまま1ヶ月間徳島に滞在し、デビューのきっかけとなった自主制作盤『チャットモンチーになりたい』(2004年 ※現在入手不可)をレコーディングしたスタジオでのレコーディングを敢行。デビュー・ミニアルバム『chatmonchy has come』(2005年)収録曲と同時期に作られた未発表曲4曲と、今回郷里で一から制作したまっさらな新曲4曲という、原風景と現風景が入り混じった不思議なコンセプトアルバムとなっている。大学の後輩によるストリングスをフューチャーした「あいかわらず」や、福岡が作曲まで手がけた「セカンドプレゼント」、ギター1本での弾き語り曲となる「また、近いうちに」など、リラックスして制作を行った中にも新たな側面が伺える。ジャケットには在徳島のカメラマン上野照文氏による阿波踊りの写真を使用し、ブックレットにも徳島市内の写真を使用。
