暖心繼父威爾法洛槓上親生酷爸馬克華伯格！個性溫和、平凡的電台主管布萊德(威爾法洛 飾)，努力與新婚太太的小孩打好關係，正當親子關係漸入佳境時，孩子的親生父親竟然回來了！沒想到親生父親達斯帝(馬克華伯格 飾)竟是個年輕、風流倜儻的超級酷男，兩人一見面就互不相讓，為了討孩子歡心、捍衛自己的地位，各出奇招，默默展開"誰是最強老爸"的競賽，引發不少笑話和災難。
