【剧情简介】：
由三大艾美奖得主John Wells（六获艾美奖最佳制片及最佳编剧）、Ann Biderman（艾美奖最佳编剧） 和 Chris Chulack（艾美奖最佳导演，代表作《ER》）联袂打造的新剧《南城警事》用真实、直白的影像讲述了一个洛杉矶警队的故事。从马利步海滩到洛杉矶东区，情节紧凑的《南城警事》将带你深入到警察、罪犯、受害者及其家人的生活之中。由Michael Cudlitz（《大河恋》主演）所饰演的John Cooper是一位资深警官，奉命提携年轻的 “菜鸟”Ben Sherman（由《橘镇风云》主演Ben McKenzie饰演）。但Cooper正直严谨的作风让Sherman开始怀疑自己是否具有成为一名警察的潜力。
《南城警事》由John Wells影业与华纳兄弟电视公司联手制作，其幕后成员均来自《白宫风云》的制作班底。Wells、Chulack与 Biderman三人同为该剧的执行制片人，其中Biderman为主创， 而Chulack则兼任导演。
