阔别五年，《2009东亚运动会．左麟右李演唱会》2月1日再现红馆，这是自08年红馆装修後重开的头炮之作，谭咏麟与李克勤再次双剑合璧，在新春期间举行12场的演唱会。两人罕有以一身肌肉的大只佬形象示人，大骚健身成果，还与女舞员上演连场劲舞长达十多分钟，又以时事和艺人绯闻来大玩栋笃笑，再以忘忧心情为香港人大唱演唱会主题曲「嗱嗱声」，带来无限的欢乐。
自2003年起，谭咏麟和李克勤已在《左麟右李演唱会》合作无间，2009年再次聚首，除了精彩地互相演绎了耳熟能详的经典好歌之外，二人还邀请了众多嘉宾，有陈友、曾志伟和陈百祥上台大唱「朋友」，又联同孙耀威、关楚耀和Mr.狂欢大唱Medley。此外，刚宣布有身孕的陈慧琳亦当上尾场嘉宾演绎快歌「花花宇宙」，掀起起全晚高潮。为了配合东亚运动会的主题，谭咏麟和李克勤更在台上联同运动会的吉祥物「东仔」和「亚妹」以及多位运动员在台上合唱东亚运动会主题曲「冲出世界」。
《左麟右李演唱会2009》3CD以 DSD录制，共收录了32首现场实录和三首Bonus Track。
